We love because God loved us first

The Salvation Army provides spiritual services to anyone God brings across our path.

Using god's love to uplift every neighbor

From weekly worship services and youth programming, to outreach to communities in need, the Richmond Citadel Corps aims to meet human need through spreading the word of God. The Richmond Citadel Corps offers everyone a place for healing and hope through the love of God.

How we help share God's love

The Salvation Army's local church, the Richmond Citadel Corps, provides opportunities for spiritual outreach, worship and fellowship for the Central Virginia area.

Weekly Ministry
The Richmond Citadel Corps offers Sunday school for all ages at 9:45 AM, and worship at 11:00AM each week. All are welcome and invited to attend.

Youth Programming
The Richmond Citadel offers free music classes every Wednesday evening for kids aged 8-18. Young adult Bible study is offered Sunday evenings at 6PM for a chance for teens to dive deeper into discussion and understanding of the Bible.

Adult Programming
The Richmond Citadel offers regular opportunities for adult members to join in fellowship and ministry. Adult Bible study is offered Thursdays at 6:30pm. Throughout the month, there are also opportunities for women's ministry and men's ministry to gather.

Spiritual Outreach
Sharing God's love doesn't stop with our worship services. Corps members volunteer to provide outreach to people and meet them where they are. Every other Saturday warm meals and God's word are shared with individuals who are living on the street. Volunteers also visit the Hunter Holmes McGuire Veterans Hospital monthly to join in fellowship with the patients.
